The Company
Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours and they are currently recruiting for a Deputy Service Manager.
The Role
This service you’d be working in is a community support service which consists of 5 services in the Kingston, Ham and New Malden area supporting 12 ladies with learning disabilities and varying support needs. The service supports a further 6 females and 2 males with learning disabilities within their own home. 3 of the services require sleep-ins 7 days a week and 1 is staffed 24 hours a day. We’re looking for candidates who have some experience of managing small teams and experience of providing support to people with learning disabilities and varying support needs.
This role will also be a mixture of hands on person centred active support, with some time set aside for admin.
Skills and Experience
Applicants MUST be a driver with access to own car.
Candidates must have a strong background working with people with learning disabilities and experience of leading a team of support or care workers and be flexible to work across a 7 day rota including some sleep ins.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £22,725 per annum (plus mileage allowance) with benefits including 31 days annual leave including Bank Holidays and company pension scheme.
