Our client operates a modern, well equipped, multidisciplinary environment for people of working age with life limiting physical and neurological conditions and they are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses. The service was rated as 'Good' in the most recent CQC inspection in June 2017.
They have high staffing levels and exceptionally low levels of staff turnover so can assure you of an excellent workplace and a satisfying career. The care staff are highly trained and assist with non-complex medications therefore giving time for nursing staff to deliver on clinical care needs. Clinical training and updates are paid for with off-site clinical training delivered and clinical trainers on site to sign you off in order for you to develop your portfolio.
Situated in New Ollerton, a few miles outside Mansfield and Newark, the service is easily accessible from Nottingham, Worksop, Newark, Lincoln, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Lincoln.
Experience
Candidates must be RGN qualified and there are preceptorships on offer for newly qualified nurses. We may consider RMN and RNLD applicants who have experience of working with complex physical health needs. This would suit someone who is enthusiastic and used to working in a medical/complex care setting. Previous experience is not essential, though desirable, as full training and competencies will be provided.
Rates of pay / Hours / Benefits
The starting pay rate for the role is £16ph (£31,200 per annum) with an extra 50p at weekends an extra £1ph between midnights and 7am and all breaks are paid. With good performance in the role the rate of pay can rise to a maximum of £18ph.
Shifts are 7am - 7.30pm and vice versa for nights. They can definitely consider candidates who would like a mixture of days and nights and people who would like to do permanent nights. They may be able to consider candidates who want to do permanent days.
