Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours. The Role
This service is a supported living service supporting young adult males with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. The service is about a 20 minute walk from Woking town centre and is near local bus routes.
The individuals like a variety of activities in the house and out and about in the community. Drivers are desirable due to the nature of the role.
Shift patterns: earlies (7am-3pm), lates (3pm-11pm) and nights (11pm-7am).
We’re looking for people to be as flexible as possible to cover all shift patterns.
The role is 39 hours per week.
Skills and Experience
You don’t need experience as full training is provided, and you will work with a local team who will guide you from day one.
You will need to be:
•Reliable - the person you support, their family and your team will quickly learn that they can count on you.
•Creative - you see alternative ways of getting things done effectively.
•Determined - you don’t give up when things get difficult.
These qualities are essential to the role, as together they mean you will be able to give outstanding support, empowering people to make choices and:
•participate in social, leisure and work activities
•carry out everyday tasks, such as personal care, cleaning or going shopping
•learn new skills and reach their full potential
Salary and Benefits
£17,850 per annum
(This includes a £1200 complexity enhancement. £16,650 + £1200 = £17,850)
