The Company
Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours and they are currently recruiting for a Deputy Service Manager in Epping.
The Role
This service supports 3 people with learning disabilities in a supported living environment. This role is to oversee the management of the service alongside the Service Manager to run the day to day of the service.

Due to the nature of the role it is highly desirable applicants hold a full valid driving licence and access to their own car. Applicants also must be flexible to work across a 7 day rota to work across earlies, late evenings, daytime office admin and sleep-ins. Approximately 60% of the role is shift cover, the rest admin/management tasks. It is essential that candidates have experience of providing person centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs and a proven ability of effective management of staff teams.

Skills and Experience
Due to the nature of the role it is essential applicants hold a full valid driving licence and have access to their own car due to working across both locations. Applicants also must be flexible to work across a 7 day rota to work earlies, late evenings, daytime office admin hours and sleep-ins (approximately once a week). The role will also be a part of an on-call rota.
It is essential that candidates have experience of providing person centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs and a proven ability of effective management of staff teams.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £22,500 per annum with benefits including 31 days annual leave including Bank Holidays and company pension scheme.
