Our client is a new operator in the residential childcare field and have just registered their first home - a 4 bedded service in Wolverhampton for children aged 11 - 18 with a learning disability.
They are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to join the company and offer leadership and expertise in opening the home and building a staff team as new referrals are brought in.
This role will best suit an individual who has proven track record in managing residential children's homes, has a relevant childcare / managerial qualification such as Level 5 in Leadership for Children and Young People (or equivalent) and a good working knowledge of learning disabilities.
You should also have a sound working knowledge of The Children’s Act 1989, The Quality Standards, Children’s Homes Regulations, Working Together 2015 and all other current legislation that is needed to operate successfully at a 'Good’/’Outstanding’ level as judged by OFSTED.
The salary for the role is up £37,000 depending on qualifications and experience with a bonus structure that will be discussed at interview.
