My client one of the worlds largest Advertising companies, are currently in need of a Senior Credit Controller to cover maternity for a min of 12months possibly 15months. You will join their outstanding Credit Control function working on a very varied portfolio of accounts ranging from small to blue chip clients. My client is seeking someone with talent to be able to hit the ground running, someone who is self motivated, ideally but not essential from advertising or a similar environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Credit Manager and working as part of a team of four your duties will include the following:
- Responsible for managing cash collections and maintaining the relevant accounts, covering mainly specialist and agency accounts
- Reconciling accounts and resolving a wide range of queries on accounts
- Producing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports of outstanding balances and queries
- Maintaining good relationships with internal and external clients
- Supplying cash forecasts and meeting cash targets/forecasts
- Covering management remits when required
Essential Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will already have a minimum of 2 years solid experience in a credit control role ideally within a Media environment
- Knowledge of DDS is desirable but not essential
- Able to work on own initiative as well as working within a close team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Numerate with good IT skills especially Excel and Word
- Experience in query resolution
