Role Purpose

This challenging role reports to the Credit Control Manager assisting with daily duties for the day to day running of the Sales Ledger
Maintaining and monitoring several thousand key accounts
Majority of these accounts are Corporate/ Private clients both UK and overseas client base

Key Accountabilities
Management of Sales Ledger
Maintaining the daily reports, ensuring daily transaction's agree
Posting of till Reconciliations
Preparing the daily bank statements and cheque payments
Posting all cash receipts to customer accounts and allocating accordingly
Assist with daily post duties
Preparing for daily banking
Responding immediately to both internal and external customer enquiries, escalating to resolve issues relevant divisions where necessary.
Provide support to Credit Control, assisting with maintaining debts to a minimum.
Co-ordinating day to day activities with other team members, prioritising workloads.
Understanding the role providing support for team members, ultimately focusing on customer needs.

Reliable, conscientious and willingness to help with customer enquiries
Ability to handle any complaints in a calm effective manner

Experience / Achievements
Experience gained within similar environment
Experience of working to strict accounting deadlines

Skills / Knowledge

Computer Literate, with good use of MS Word Excel and Outlook


Financial knowledge is essential
