Outline of role
We are seeking a Costs Draftsman who has at least three years' experience in a similar role and a track record of successfully working as part of a team and managing their own caseload. This position will focus mainly on Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury cost claims and the preparation of costs budgets, but assistance may be required with bills.

Experience
- At least 3 years Costs experience
- Strong understanding of CPR and Case Law
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills

- Tenacious attitude towards enhancements

Day to day duties
- Drafting Points of Reply & Dispute
- Negotiating Defendant Bills of Costs
- Drafting schedules of Costs
- Advising solicitors on Costs issues
- Attending detailed assessment hearings
