Our client is an established Legal Practice of Solicitors, Costs Lawyers and Costs Consultants. They currently undertake work for some of the country's largest Legal Firm's. They have offices nationwide, London, Hull, Liverpool, Sheffield and Manchester.

Outline of role
They are seeking a Costs Draftsman who has at least one years' experience in a similar role and a track record of successfully working as part of a team and managing their own caseload. This position will focus mainly on Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury cost claims and the preparation of costs budgets, but assistance may be required with bills.

The ideal candidate will have experience gained within a legal environment, preferably within personal injury or clinical negligence, and will have attained or be willing to work towards Ilex qualification. They will need a good understanding of legal processes and possess a confident verbal and written communication style. They ideally will have experience of managing work to key deadlines and have excellent organisational skills and knowledge of using Microsoft Office.

Day to day duties
- Meet Agreed Profit Cost Targets
- Prepare Bills of Costs and schedules within agreed service level agreements
- Prepare Budgets if required
- Draft relies if required
- Attend regular training sessions internally and externally to maintain own self development
