Unfortunately there are no guarantees in life - starting a new job and it not working out is just one of them.  However, please note the following point about the role before you make a decision;

  • Don’t panic – the first few weeks can be quite daunting and can also be a big learning curve
  • Give the job time to get going – employers will want to ease you into a role - but if you feel that you can handle more – ask
  • It can take a good 2-4 weeks to start feeling comfortable in your role and new surroundings
