Registration & Interview Procedure

Our selection process includes the following;

  • Initially checking CV to search for certain skill criteria that would be suitable for current or potential vacancies that we would register.
  • Telephone interview potential candidates to ensure that those brought in for interview suit our client needs and would be interested in the type of work we have available.


Pre-registration

  • Checking and copies taken of ID or any visa that may be required
  • Checking of qualification certificates and dates


Candidate Registration

  • Completion of Registration form – which includes a detailed tick sheet, highlighting skills that the candidate has covered in either a theoretical or practical nature. The Registration forms differ for each Division to reflect the diversity of skill set
  • On-Line testing – This can be done before the interview or on site when registering.
  • The skills tested will depend on the level of candidate and type of position they are registering for; i.e. Typing Tests, Data Input, Accountancy Tests etc
  • Interview with a trained consultant who has industry specific knowledge who uses the completed registration form, CV and test results to conduct the interview and ascertain aspirations and positions the candidate is interested in. Honest advice is also given at this stage based on the consultant’s experience of the marketplace to achieve realistic career opportunities and salaries.
  • Referencing – If the candidate is looking for temporary work it is Adept’s Policy to obtain references covering the past 2 years of employment.


Post Registration

  • Each candidates CV, interview notes, test results, salary details are noted to each applicant registered
  • All passport and relevant documents according to their application are also attached to the document
  • Each Candidate is ‘skilled’ in accordance with their relevant work, computer skills & location to enhance search procedures
  • For more obscure searches – we can perform searches on CV text
  • For Temporary staff - References are sent and recorded when received
  • Only Temporary Staff that whose references pass Adept’s quality standards are used by Adept Recruitment


Pre-selection before submitting CV’s

  • Having read the Job Description thoroughly, a search of potential candidates already interviewed and registered that match the Job requirements is performed.
  • The initial shortlist would be checked by the consultants to eliminate unsuitable candidates immediately.
  • All positions are advertised to ensure that we are always reviewing new candidates throughout our pre-selection process
  • Potential candidates would be spoken to ascertain their level of interest and if the salary level of the role is acceptable.
  • Further information specific to the relevant Client would also be discussed, to ensure that the person is suited to the cultural environment and that their ideals and values match that of the company.
  • If the candidate expresses an initial interest a copy of the job specification would be forwarded to the candidate for approval to send their CV.
  • All CV’s submitted are therefore only after candidates full approval
  • The best 3-4 CV’s would be sent to client
