Our client are a leading health charity who are looking for a Web Manager to cover maternity leave. you will be responsible for the development, content management and maintenance of the main website and micro sites. You will have experience of web design, writing web content and experience of editing, sub-editing, proofreading copy for the web .

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 1 year

IDEAL START DATE: ASAP

MAIN DUTIES:
Manage, maintain and develop the charity's main website
Co-ordinate, maintain and edit content of the charity's website in liaison with the web gurus
Work with the Trailblazers project manager to maintain and develop the Trailblazers microsite
Work with the Tesco Communications Officer to maintain and develop the Tesco microsite
Monitor and analyse web statistics, including SEO
Source creative services and commission photographers, illustrators and designers where appropriate, negotiating contracts, developing briefs and managing external supplier relationships
Research, develop and build the charity's intranet in conjunction with the relevant web agency

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Experience of web redesign
At least two years experience of writing web content
At least two ears of editing, sub-editing, proofreading and copy for the web

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple, pressurized projects and deadlines
