Development Manager

This charity is a leading helpline provider in the UK and handle almost 3 million contacts from people in distress each year. This progressive charity consistently develops its services in order to continuously perform at a high standard and assist as many people as possible who are in need. As a result of this the charity is setting up a new Quality and Development team that is responsible for ensuring that the organisation learns from, and responds to feedback by leading on change management projects which aim to produce new resources, services or systems to support branches. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with project management skills as well as track record of delivering complex projects. Due to nature of the work this organisation undertake it is also essential that you have an understanding of suicide and self harm.



MAIN DUTIES:
Plan and manage multiple projects, coordinating objectives across teams and securing involve nent of volunteers
Produce project management documentation and budgets
Facilitate effective management of change across branches in the UK and Ireland


ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Demonstrable experience of planning, management and evaluation of complex long term projects relating to health and wellbeing is essential
Experience of line managing staff
Working knowledge of the mental health sector
Experience of working in partnership with a diverse range of stakeholder's

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
