Community & Events Fundraiser

We are currently recruiting for a leading cancer charity. You will bring your experience of community fundraising to the role and have had success in increasing and managing income generated through community fundraising. You will also have experience of managing, organising and marketing mass participation events and ideally will have worked with charities which have branches.

MAIN DUTIES:
With the Events Manager, agree fundraising and other targets associated with the role
Plan the development of a programme for community fundraisers
Liase with existing community fundraisers, providing fundraising materials, encouragement and support
Monitor income and expenditure on your activities regularly
Build and maintain string relationships with trustees, celebrities, committees, attendees and other supporters

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Demonstrable success in increasing and managing income generated through community fundraising
Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including fundraisers, committee members and celebrity supporters

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
