Once you have registered the key to getting the best Temp jobs is communication.  When a temporary assignment comes in the process moves extremely quickly. Clients will only want 1 or 2 CV’s per role and so as Consultants our first task is to check who is available for work.


Weekly Available’s List

All our available Temps go on our ‘Weekly Availables List’ which means they will get PRIORITY for any assignment that comes in.


When to call and how often?

Not working?                

  • Call/e-mail us WEEKLY so you’re name is on our ‘Weekly Availables List’
  • Check your mobile regularly for Text alerts or missed calls
  • Remember speed is of the essence when we are filling assignments – so 
    call us back ASAP if you want to be considered.
  • Do not call Friday afternoon expecting work for Monday – you may be lucky
    but 99.9% of the bookings will already be filled.
  • The earlier on in the week that you are on our ‘Weekly Availables List’ the
    more chance you have of finding work.
  • Please always call/e-mail us if you have found work elsewhere so we can take you off our list until next time you call.

Working?             

  • Temps currently working for Adept will have PRIORITY for all new assignments
  • Do not ASSUME that we know your assignment is ending – on occasions 
    Clients do forget to tell us, so make it your responsibility to call/e-mail us, just
    in case, or you may miss future assignments and end up not working.
  • Call us at least a week BEFORE your assignment ends – this way your Temping
    roles should have minimum breaks and you go from one job to another.
  • Update us with any new skills you have picked up (Computer system etc)
  • Check your mobile regularly for Text alerts or missed calls– Call us back ASAP if
    you want to be considered.
  • Do not call Friday afternoon expecting work for Monday – you may be lucky but

If you follow these processes you will always be considered FIRST for every job that comes in. Not only will this increase your chance of working more regalely but also increase the chances of consistently getting the BEST jobs available.
