Employers
1. We appreciate that every client is different and therefore adopt a flexible approach, tailoring the
service we provide to suit each of their individual needs and budgets.
2. To agree to timescales and number of candidates to be seen for individual Clients and Level of
Recruitment:
Permanent Recruitment - existing database CV’s within 1-2 hours (dependant on level of vacancy
and ease to contact candidate)
Temporary recruitment - each Client differs depending on Start Date, type of role and length of
assignment - we always agree to confirm name on Clients individual demands - thus giving all
Clients the flexibility they need. If ever we could not fill a temporary vacancy the client knows
from the outset but we would still continue to search until the role was filled.
3. We focus on the special requirements of the Client by having fully trained consultants with
specialist technical knowledge in their field.
4. We encourage a two-way communication process between Client and Consultancy as a
foundation to build permanent & trusting relationships based on a friendly, honest, efficient and
cost-effective service.
5. We use in-depth job description recording to ensure that all the Candidates we supply
fully match the skill and personality expectations of the Client.
6. We ensure all our Candidates invited for interview are fully conversant with the vacancy for which
they will be interviewed and also have a good understanding of the company and its culture .
7. Any test conducted all results made available to Clients.
8. We endeavour to continually improve Client perception of Adept by exceeding
their expectations & requirements.
9. We aim to improve our service by constantly monitoring our performance.
10. We invest in the development of our Consultants to maintain low staff turnover.
Candidates
1. We listen, understand and focus on the individual requirements and expectations of our
Candidates using information gathered in thorough interviews and tests performed by our
Consultants.
2. We provide honest feedback based on our Consultant’s specialist knowledge and point
those Candidates we cannot help in the right direction.
3. We develop a two-way communication process between candidate and Consultant, not
only to develop a trusting and personal business relationship but to constantly improve
and update our service by continuous feedback.
4. We ensure that the Candidate is fully conversant with full details of the vacancy, before
they are submitted to the Client and provide as much information as we can about the
company and its culture.
5. We offer guidance on forthcoming interviews and provide as much feedback as possible
on interviews attended, to assist and improve each candidate’s performance for the
future, until they successfully find a new position either through us or another source.
6. To help develop our temporary staff, we offer free training on various IT packages on our
professional Testing and Training system.
7. We maintain an ongoing commitment to our Temporary staff to find them quality roles,
endeavouring to exceed their requirements & expectations.
8. We treat all Candidates with the respect and courtesy we would expect ourselves.
Consultants
1. We aim to employ, through strict internal recruitment procedures, friendly approachable
consultants with a specific or practical interest in the industry for which they will be recruiting.
2. Our Consultants adopt a genuine and ethical interest in the career development of their
candidates.
3. We offer ongoing training and industry-specific internal training courses to develop and encourage
staff to achieve consistently high standards.
4. We discuss items from specific periodic industry publications to ensure that market knowledge
is up-to-date and understood by all Consultants.
5. Autonomy is given to our Consultants so that they can make their own business decisions.
This is a good way to develop staff as they feel that they are listened to and this is, in turn,
reflected in their commitment. This is, of course, within the boundaries of Management consent
and the constraints of the REC good practice guide.
